Danuser’s Doodles, Poodles, & Cavapoos
Your Trusted Central Missouri Dog Breeder
About Us
Danuser’s Doodles, Poodles, & Cavapoos, formally Danuser’s Doodles R Us & Cavapoos Too, began as a family-owned business in 2014 in our beautiful hometown of Hermann, MO.
With years of experience, we take pride in blessing our dog families with happy healthy puppies that make the perfect companion for any age. Our breeding program focuses on producing puppies with excellent temperaments, intelligence, and health.
We pride ourselves on being trusted in all aspects by our customers. We get a lot of referrals from families who have previously purchased puppies from us as well as families that return to us for their second or third puppy.
We are very quick to respond to any questions prior to reserving a puppy, while reserving a puppy, waiting for a puppy, & always available for any questions or concerns after a puppy goes to its new home.
Have a question?
Once we become dog family, we remain dog family!
We are always honest with your questions. We may not tell you exactly what you want to hear but what we tell you will be truthful & to the best of our knowledge. For example, if you want a toy puppy that doesn’t get more than 5 lbs. we probably won’t have a puppy for you. Even toy poodles have a range of 5 to 10 lbs.
Genetics & Weight Expectancy
When a puppy is born, no breeder can give you an “exact” adult weight. They should be able to give you an estimate, but there again, there is no guarantee. Same goes for coat colors that could possibly have a fading gene & begin to get lighter as they get older. We’ve had toy poodles who have gotten lighter as an adult to an apricot color lasting a couple of years & then turning red again. Genetics are a very interesting study. We’ve learned a lot about genetics over the years but continue to get fun surprises along the way. We’ve sure enjoyed our education through our journey with breeding. We continue to learn each day & are very passionate about breeding.
We absolutely love our dogs like they are our children & that’s why our dog family send their friends, family, neighbors, & even people they meet just wanting to pet their dog while on a walk or traveling through the states. We’ve had clients travel in from other states, stay a night, pick up their puppy & then fly back home the next day.
Know Your Breeder
We cannot stress enough how important it is to have a relationship with your breeder so pick up the phone & give us a call. We’re also happy to give someone our veterinarians number if you need just a little more reassurance that we are the real deal!

Our Doodles, Poodles, & Cavapoos
We specialize in Moyan (medium size) Goldendoodles, Petite-Miniature Goldendoodles, Cavapoos, & Toy Poodles. Proven to be perfect in many therapy settings, from at-home therapy to nursing homes & schools, our puppies have been professionally trained to provide comfort & support.
The Perfect Companion
Our furry friends provide an emotional connection with their families reducing loneliness, stress, & anxiety while improving a person’s emotional & mental well-being.
Puppies are raised in a nurturing home environment from birth to the age of 8 weeks allowing them to develop as well-adjusted companions. They love being with their humans doing whatever it is their humans love to do. Between activities like car rides, walks, hiking, shed antler hunting, boating, side by sides, swimming, jet skis, & even playing dress up with their little humans, these pups are all about having fun & bringing joy & happiness to their families!!
Choosing the Puppy that is Right for You
At 4 weeks old, puppies are chosen in the order in which deposits were received. We begin with the first family by sending individual pictures only of those puppies available according to gender preference.
If there was no specific gender preference chosen at the time of the reservation, we will send pictures of both male and female puppies available. We also offer videos sent via email or can set up a facetime appointment to show you your potential family member.
We ask that everyone try to pick a puppy in a reasonable amount of time. Not only does this help us, but you’ll get to pick your preferred pup sooner, too! The less outside help you ask for when choosing a puppy, the easier it is.
If there are more than 2 puppies to choose from, we suggest a process of elimination & narrow it down to two & make your decision from there. Especially with children.
From our years of experience, chances are each child will choose a different puppy, making it more difficult to convince them why you chose the puppy you’ve chosen. Once that puppy comes home, it will be so loved that they will never know the difference of one from another.
Virtually Visit Your Future Pup
We do not allow on-site visitation for the safety and security of our dogs, litters, and ourselves since our breeding facility is neighboring our family home.
We have a very strict policy which holds true for everyone. Each of our reasons for saying no are of equal importance. Ethical/professional breeders should have the same policy in place for the safety of their dogs, puppies, & themselves.
Deadly viruses and parasites can be brought in on visitor’s shoes, and we are not only protecting our own dogs & puppies from these outside deadly viruses but everyone else’s, too. As the main nursery caretaker, I even have street shoes, as I call them, that I leave in my car & then change back into my nursery shoes upon my arrival home. Our daily sanitation routine is standard protocol according to the state of Missouri’s sanitation policy procedures.
Puppies are not fully vaccinated until the age of 14-16 weeks of age or until they’ve received their age appropriate first vaccination followed by a series of two booster vaccines spaced 3-4 weeks apart to build up their immunity. It is our job to keep all puppies safe from these deadly viruses.

Frequently Asked Questions
When is my puppy ready to come home?
Your puppy is ready to come home at 8 weeks old. We like to set up an appointment at least a week in advance. It’s nice to coordinate puppy pick-ups with other families but allowing 30 minutes in between to go over the puppy’s health exam, vax card, tips, tricks, & suggestions, & any questions you may have.
Where will I pickup my puppy?
We usually set up puppy pick-ups here at our farm in Williamsburg, Mo. We have a cute little cabin at the entrance to our driveway, where we meet, allowing me to keep a small area sanitized in between pick-ups. Occasionally, we may choose to meet in Hermann at my mom’s house or at the Marathon convenience store right off MO-19 N if we’re heading in that direction already.
What will be sent home with my puppy?
You’ll receive a doggy bag with the puppy’s up-to-date first vaccination & deworming card, a small bag of Hills Science Diet Puppy food, & their healthy puppy vet exam report.
Will my puppy be vaccinated?
All of our puppies come with a complete health exam by our veterinarians, up to date on deworming & first vaccination. It is very important to follow up & continue the vaccination schedule. A young puppy’s immune system isn’t fully protected without them.
It is extremely important to avoid taking your puppy to doggie parks, gas station breaks, or any public ground where other dogs frequently use the bathroom, this also includes your veterinary clinic. It is suggested have your puppy potty at home in its own yard, then carry the puppy into the office, & try to return home as quickly as possible.
We suggest setting up your vet appointment 3-4 weeks after their first vaccination & then 3-4 weeks later for a final booster, according to your veterinarian’s suggestion.
Once the puppy has had their 3rd & final booster vaccine, which is generally 14-16 weeks of age, consult with your veterinarian & make sure the puppy is free to visit public places. A rabies vaccination can be administered by a licensed veterinarian at 16 weeks of age.
Will my puppy be microchipped?
Microchipping is required in some states. You may want to consult with your veterinarian at your first visit to see if this applies to your puppy. Microchipping is not required in Missouri.
Is there a health guarantee?
Each puppy comes into your home with a 1-year health guarantee from serious hereditary or congenital health abnormalities. The breeder will contribute to those specific veterinary expenses up to the cost of the puppy or would provide the family with a replacement puppy of comparable value, according to availability.
A written diagnosis must come from a licensed veterinarian & may require a second opinion. The veterinarian will also need to provide adequate records of physical exams, vaccinations, & any treatment plans the puppy has been receiving.
Conditions that are not considered life threatening & are not congenital, hereditary, or genetic are not covered by the guarantee as in internal or external parasites, viral or bacterial viruses, worms, distemper, canine influenza, fungal infections, exposure to fertilizers, pesticides, or poisons, injuries from falls or drops, rabies, leptospirosis, etc…just to name a few.
